Mary Ann Dennis Scercy's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Ann Dennis Scercy, 71, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017, at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, March 20, 2017, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Evangelist Kathy Dixon will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Kannapolis.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:45 pm at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Scercy was born November 14, 1945 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late William Robert Dennis and Margaret Wilkerson Dennis. She formerly worked as a nursing assistant and also Tuscarora Mill in Mooresville. Most recently, she owned and operated her own cleaning business.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Shrewsberry and Linda Morris; and four brothers, Bill, Wade, Bobby and Donald Dennis.
Mrs. Scercy is survived by her husband, Earl Ray Scercy; brother, David Dennis and wife Gay of China Grove; two sisters, Elsie Crowder and Betty Milam, both of Kannapolis.
