Mildred Claudine Dudley's Obituary
Mrs. Mildred Claudine Addison Dudley, 79, of 1207 Brantley Road, Kannapolis, died Sunday, August 15, 2004, at NorthEast Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted 4 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2004, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Chuck Halipilias will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of a daughter, Sharon Childress, 617 Peacehaven Road, Kannapolis.
Born January 4, 1925, in Toccoa, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Claude Lane Addison and Rebe Dollie Burke Addison. She had lived in this area most of her life and retired several years ago from Corriher Mill in Landis. She was a loving and faithful member of Jackson Park United Methodist Church and was active in the Gladys Nelson Sunday School Class.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Ruth Armstrong, Ida Mae Hedgepeth and Reba Beam; and two brothers, Lamar Addison and Ted Addison.
Survivors include three daughters, Sharon Childress and her husband, Tommy, of Kannapolis, Gail Dudley of Salisbury, Suzette Bange and her husband, Ronnie, of Kannapolis; two sisters, Ruby Dudley of Landis and Monteen Raper and her husband, Clyde, of Mooresville; a step-sister, Mavourneen Hawkins of Jacksonville, Fl.; and two grandchildren, James Waymon Bange and Randall Keith Childress, both of Kannapolis; and several nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.
