Mildred Scott Goodman's Obituary
Mrs. Helen Mildred Scott Goodman, 86, a resident of Avante of Concord and formerly of Mountain Street in Kannapolis, died Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at the nursing center, following seven years of declining heath and a serious illness of three months.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2005, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Sam Crisp will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at their respective homes.
Born September 28, 1918 in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late M. T. Scott and Beulah Rowell Scott. She was retired from the sewing room of Cannon Mills, Plant One in Kannapolis.
Her husband, Thomas Lee Goodman, preceded her in death.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
