Mildred Gertrude Freeze Wise's Obituary
Mrs. Mildred Gertrude Freeze Wise, 83, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehab Center in Salisbury.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Concordia Lutheran Church. Rev. Ken Reed, Rev. Mike Shoaf and Rev. Larry Bost will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in China Grove.
The family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 6:00 pm at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wise was born January 1, 1935 in Rowan County. She was a daughter of the late Floyd Franklin Freeze and Sally Parker Freeze. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Freeze Lingle.
Mrs. Wise is survived by her husband, Gerald Franklin Wise; son, Scott Wise and wife Amy of China Grove; and one sister, Linda Freeze Benge of Rockwell; two grandchildren, Jordan Scott Wise and Addison Lynne Wise; a niece, Audrey Skipper and Kim Snider and husband Ken, both of Rockwell and Gail Young and husband Mike of Faith; a nephew, Mark Benge and wife Debbie and Randy Ellenburg and wife Yvonne, both of Rockwell and Todd Lingle and wife Shelia of Salisbury; her special friend, Alan Nance and wife Barbara of China Grove; and her beloved dog, Tyson.
Memorials may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church, 185 Concordia Church Road, China Grove, NC 28023.
The family would like to thank Novant Health Rowan Medical Center and Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehab for the special care that was provided to Mrs. Wise.
