Mr. Morley Hamilton Keyes, 85, of Coachman's Trace, passed away, Friday, April 27, 2012, at the W.G."Bill" Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, April 30, 2012, at Second Baptist Church, 807 Sweetgum Street, Kannapolis. Rev. Gary Scoggins will officiate.
Morley was born June 27, 1926 in Candor, NY. He was a son of the late Charles Keyes and Jessie Johns Keyes. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served during World War II. He worked in law enforcement in New York State.
Morley is survived by his wife, Imogene Chatham Keyes; four daughters, Patricia Lyn Detrick and husband, David Gowe, Sherrill Oakley and husband, Gary, Billie Hunness and husband, Frank and Laurie Mathers and husband, James; three sons, David Gray and wife, Lorraine, Steven Gray and wife, Sheri and Douglas Gray and wife, Tammy; a sister, Marilyn; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
