Myrtle Sue Beaver's Obituary
Mrs. Myrtle Sue Milstead Beaver, 97, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at Carolina Memorial Park. Mr. Bill Jolley will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Beaver was born July 13, 1919 in Alexander County. She was a daughter of the late Robert Edgar Milstead and Candace Roxanne Little Milstead. She retired from Cannon Mills. Mrs. Beaver was a member of First Presbyterian Church, where she was the oldest living member, and also taught two and three year olds in Sunday school for over 47 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Calvin Beaver; brother, Robert E. Milstead, Jr.; and two sisters, Hattie Belle Poole and Beulah Mae Milstead.
Mrs. Beaver is survived by daughter, Sonnie Keever and husband Larry of Kannapolis; one granddaughter, Wendy K. Raffaldt and husband Randall; two great grandchildren, Victoria R. Raffaldt and Andrew R. Raffaldt;one great-great grandson, McConnor G. Raffaldt; numerous nieces and a nephew; and a sister in law.
