Myrtle Lee Cranford Broome's Obituary
Mrs. Myrtle Lee Cranford Broome, 94, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018, at CHS-NorthEast in Concord.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, March 9, 2018, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ellen Campbell Gardner will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45 am Friday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Broome was born June 21, 1923 in Kannapolis. She was a daughter of the late Adam Lee Cranford and Ethel Lee Price Cranford. She was a member of Bethpage Presbyterian Church in Kannapolis. She retired from Cannon Mills where she worked as a timekeeper.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry James Broome; sister, Claudine Honeycutt; and a brother, Robert Darrell Cranford, Sr.
Mrs. Broome is survived her brother, Everette "Gene" Cranford and wife Peggy of San Bernardino, CA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
