Nancy Chatman Anthony's Obituary
Mrs. Nancy Chatman Anthony, 75, of Carter Loop Road, Rockwell, and formerly of Montana Circle, Concord, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Hospice House in Kannapolis.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Carolina Memorial Park. The Rev. Jimmy Barrett will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2008, at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the residence.
Born November 29, 1932 in Rockingham County, she was the daughter of the late William Allen Burton Chatman and Agnes Booth Chatman. She retired from the Folding Room of Cannon Mills, Plant One in Kannapolis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Brian Keith Rodgers; and her husband, Albert Thomas Anthony.
Survivors include a daughter, Angela Rodgers Aldridge, with whom she made her home; son, Terry Wayne Rodgers of Belmont; three stepdaughters, Elizabeth Prevette of Pfafftown, Donna Proffit of Charlotte and April Gray of Mechanicsville, VA; a sister, Patricia Light of Eden; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
