Norman Lee Allmon's Obituary
Norman Lee Allmon, age 83, of Kannapolis, died Sunday, December 23, 2007, at CMC�North East.
Born October 14, 1924 in Concord, Mr. Allmon was the son of the late Homer Lee Allmon and Annie Mae Barrier Allmon. He retired as a truck driver for Akers Motor Line with 18 years of service. He worked part-time with Stack Furniture Company. Mr. Allmon was a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served in World War II.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Trilba Adams Allmon.
Survivors include his daughter, Melanie A. Smith of Concord; stepdaughter, Joann Honeycutt of China Grove; a granddaughter, Nicole Doris Clark of Salisbury; step-grandchildren, Michael Honeycutt and Donna Swartz, both of China Grove; two great-grandchildren, Halston Lee Clark and Jake Colon Clark; and one step-great-grandchild, Savannah Honeycutt.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2007, at 8 p.m. at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 27, 2007, at Carolina Memorial Park.
