Pamela Susanne Adams' Obituary
Miss Pamela Susanne Adams, 64, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am Monday, April 27, 2015, at Carolina Memorial Park. Dr. Greg Sloop will officiate.
Pam was born July 7, 1950 in Concord. She was the daughter of the late John Franklin Adams, Sr. and Mary Emma Church Adams. Pam worked in Gallup, New Mexico at the Church of God Indian Bible Institute. After moving back to North Carolina, she was a secretary for Elm Street Church of God and Kannapolis Church of God for many years before going to work for Food Lion and finally working for Wells Fargo. Pam was a member of Kannapolis Church of God, where she was active in all children’s ministries and girls clubs. She also worked at the Church of God Orphanage as a house parent to many children.
There are two things that Pam was passionate about in her life. During her time in New Mexico, she developed a love for the Indian people and that was evident if you ever went to her home. And secondly, she had a special love for all animals in this world.
Pam is survived by her brother, John Franklin “Frankie” Adams, Jr. and wife Linda of Tampa, FL; two nieces, Kimberly Garcia and husband Danny of Beaverton, OR and Kandace Baro and husband John of Hillsboro, OR; and four great nephews, Caleb and Elijah Baro and Donnell and Jaxen Garcia. She is also survived by an abundance of friends who loved and cared for her.
Memorials may be sent to Kannapolis Church of God Children’s Ministries, 2211 West A Street, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
