Pauline Lipe Westmoreland's Obituary
Mrs. Pauline Lipe Westmoreland, age 83, of Kentwood Drive died Friday December 18, 2009 at the Bob & Carol Tucker Hospice House. Memorial for Mrs. Westmoreland may be made to the Unity United Methodist Church, 8505 Unity Church Road, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
Memorial services for Mrs. Westmoreland will be conducted in Unity United Methodist Church, Monday December 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Carl Settle will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow at the church.
Mrs. Westmoreland was born in Rowan County on August 27, 1926, a daughter of John Alexander Lipe and Ada Overcash Lipe. In addition to being a homemaker she worked and retired from Cannon Mills Cutting Department. She was also a member of Unity United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Marvin T. Westmoreland; her daughter, Karen McKheean of Kannapolis; two grand daughters, Shannon McKheean and Lisa Redman; one great-granddaughter Mallory Redman; a brother, Ray Lipe and his wife Bobbie, of Morganton; two sisters, Nell Tedder and Faye Cook and husband Robert all of Concord; a number of nieces and nephews and her special cats, George and Runt.
