Phyllis Ophelia Broome (Hall)'s Obituary
Mrs. Phyllis Ophelia Hall Broome, 74, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, February 6, 2015, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Joe Harding will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
The family will receive friends from 12 to1:45 pm Friday prior to the service at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Broome was born August 13, 1940 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late William Hoke Hall and Ruby Inez Luck Hall. She worked for Cabarrus Memorial Hospital as an admitting clerk.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Lloyd Broome.
Mrs. Broome is survived by her son, Barry Broome and wife, Denise, of Salisbury; sister, Frances Thor and husband, Bill, of Vero Beach, FL; brother, Don Hall and wife, Helen, of Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Adam, Matthew and Kristina Broome; and nephew, Todd Morrison and wife, Rachel, of Kannapolis, and their children, Olivia Nesbit and husband, Bryson, and Andrew Morrison.
