Ray Seabron Little's Obituary
Mr. Ray Seabron Little, 82, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014, at Tucker Hospice House.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm November 6, 2014, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Gene Beaver, Rev. Don Greer and his nephew, Mr. John Beaver will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:00 pm Thursday prior to the service at Lady’s Funeral Home.
Mr. Little was born on April 5, 1932 in Royston, GA. He was a son of the late Joseph Ray Little and Mary Rebecca Fowler Little. Mr. Little worked in the Bleachery Department for Cannon Mills and later retired as a dock worker for the Charlotte Observer Transportation Company. He was a member of Crown Pointe Baptist Church. Ray loved and was proud of his entire family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Little; and brother-in-law, Larry Beaver.
Mr. Little is survived by his daughter, Lori L. Payne and husband, Keith of Kannapolis; two sisters, Evelyn Story and husband, Max of Kannapolis and Elizabeth Beaver of Mt. Gilead; sister-in-law, Donna Little of Charlotte; two nieces, Debbie Dean and Lisa Vernon; and four nephews, Michael Beaver, John Beaver, Thomas W. Little, Jr. and Shane Story.
