Rosa Leola Watts Boyd's Obituary
Mrs. Rosa Leola Watts Boyd, 92, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020, at Big Elm Nursing Center in Kannapolis.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:30 am Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Chris Messina will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
Mrs. Boyd was born May 7, 1928 in Chesterfield, SC. She was a daughter of the late David Watts and Annie Knight Watts. She was a member of West A Tabernacle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Paul Boyd and grandson, Patrick Gainey.
Mrs. Boyd is survived by her daughter, Donna Boyd and fiance Nick of Kannapolis; grandson, Shawn Wilhoit and great granddaughter Sage Haven Gainey.
