Ruby Berry Honeycutt's Obituary
Mrs. Ruby Berry Honeycutt, 88, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, July 23, 2011, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. Jarrod Lanning will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
The family will receive friends from 10 to11:00 am Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Honeycutt was born February 1, 1923 in Rowan County. She was the daughter of the late Willie M. Berry and Bernice Turner Berry.
She was a homemaker and was formerly employed by Happy Day Care Center in Landis. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl C. "Pete" Honeycutt.
Mrs. Honeycutt is survived by daughter, Linda Reavis and husband, Mike of Kannapolis; son Jimmy C. Honeycutt of Landis; three grandchildren, Lynn R. Clark and husband, Kevin, Brooke H. Cheek and husband, David and Lea H. Powers and husband, Josh; seven great grandchildren, Rebecca and Aaron Clark, Zachary and Alycia Powers, and Kaleb, Braylen and Hayden Cheek and sister, Azile B. Goodwin of Wadesboro.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 108 West Rice Street, Landis, NC 28088.
