Dr. Blackman just emailed me about Ray's untimely passing. He was a wonderful human being and friend. I certainly enjoyed working with him over the years at Cabarrus Urology. He was the BEST and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Oh Barbara Ann, I was so shocked. I will always believe in soul mates because of you and Ray. Reading how much Ray was loved makes me smile through tears. My prayers are added to the hundreds already sent, as well as my love to you, Kimberly, Michael and the children.
We extend our deepest sympathy to the Blackmore family. Ray was such a blessing to our practice and was always willing to help at a moments notice. He will most certainly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I wanted to send to all of Ray's family my deepest condolences with his passing. You all need to know that Ray was not just another guy, not just another man, but he was so much more. He was a very deep friend of mine and will never be forgotten as he did so much for me; more than I could ever have done to repay him. There are few people in this world like Ray and all of you are so fortunate to have had him in your lives. As I told Kim, I know of that huge hole in all of your hearts. That hole will heal in time but fortunately you all will always have your memories of Ray and they will all be good. I wish i could wave a magic wand or ask God to bring him back but now, although he is not with us, he is in a much better place with no suffering and all happiness although I suspect Ray was nearly always happy whenever he was with his family. If ever any of you need anything, just go to the website and lets know and any of us will jump to help any of you! May God bless Ray's sole and his family!
I am shocked to just find this on Rays Facebook page. Ray was such a nice guy. I met him some years back at an IRL Crew gathering and subsequently was an unofficial tour guide for Ray and his group through the Indy Garage area. Also we crossed paths at several C & B s. We were about the same age and held much the same views on many things.
barb kim mike im still kinda in shock but yall are in my thought and prayers and i am real glad i got to know ray like i did since him and my dad grew up together i learned even at the age difference between us we had alot in common the first time i recall meeting him i was a little boy he had a corvette and all grown up i thought he was cool i was rite then at aunt deloris services he told me stories bout when him and my dad was raised together i called him uncle cuz it broke up the monotony so uncle cuz im sorry i didnt go to the races in indy with you last summer i guess now your gonna fly with out a plane now thank you for your military service and thank you for everything

What a wonderful human being!!! Ray was Ethical! Ray was Integrity! He made Breezewood alive and beautiful! My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family!
