Sandra Clark Stanwick's Obituary
Sandra Clark Stanwick, 60, of Kannapolis, passed away at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center on Friday, August 23, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born May 21, 1964, she was originally from Cross, SC, and graduated from Cross High School Class of 1982.
She began her career as a hairdresser. Then became a medical billing specialist. She was employed by Rowan Diagnostics Clinic in Salisbury.
Sandra was preceded in death by her father, George W. Clark and a brother-in-law, Wayne Weiss.
Surviving are her husband of 36 years, James Stanwick; her mother, Joan Clark of Cross, SC; daughter, Ashley Jones (Danny) of Cross, SC; son, Jonathan Stanwick of Kannapolis; daughter, Sierra Stanwick of Kannapolis; grandchildren, Maggie Jones of Cross, SC, Jacob Jones of Cross, SC and Karlee Stanwick of Kannapolis; sisters, Wanda Weiss and Niki Clark of Cross, SC; and brother, Eric Clark (Tracy) of Salters, SC.
A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Kimball Lutheran Church. Pastor John Futterer will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 2:45 pm at the church.
Today, we will remember her not for the pain she endured but for the love she shared, the strength she displayed, and the enduring bond of family that supported her through it all. May her memory be a source of inspiration, reminding us to cherish every moment and to stand by our loved ones.
Sandra lived a remarkable life, the love she gave, and the indomitable spirit that will forever remain in our hearts. Though she may no longer be with us in person, her legacy lives on, and her memory will continue to inspire us all.
Through the mercy of God, rest in peace Sandra Stanwick. We Love You, but God loves you more.
