Sarah Gaynell Buckwell Bost's Obituary
Mrs. Sarah Gaynell "Gay" Buckwell Bost, 92, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte.
A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Lutheran Chapel Church. Rev. John Tucker will officiate. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in China Grove.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:00 pm Thursday at Lutheran Chapel Church.
Mrs. Bost was born March 7, 1931 in Rimertown. She was a daughter of the late Martin Benjamin Buckwell and Ollie Loretta Safrit Buckwell. She was a member of Lutheran Chapel in China Grove and enjoyed Swedish weaving and crafts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Holland "Bud" Bost.
Mrs. Bost is survived by daughter, Donna Brotherton; sister, Carolyn Daugherty and husband, Greer; her cat, Miss Rosie; and granddog, Jazzy, all of China Grove.
