Born February 11, 1936, he was the son of the late John and Maebelle Craig. Thomas was one of eleven children. On May 25, 1956, he married the love of his life, Linda Gail Craig and together, they had five children.
Thomas was a faithful member of God's Church of Faith and served as an executive member on the board. He loved his church and the church family greatly. After his retirement from Cannon Mills, he enjoyed being on a lawn mower, being with his family, fishing and anything he could do to be busy with his hands. His consistent, humble, sweet and giving spirit ministered blessing to all he came in contact with in his life. Thomas never met a stranger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; his youngest son, Johnny; seven brothers and sisters; and great grandchild, Grace Montgomery.
Those left to carry on his legacy until the day we meet again includes four children, Tommy Dale Craig (Pam) of Salisbury, Stephen Craig (Tami) of Kannapolis, Donna Fleeman (Daniel) of Cleveland, and Lori Barnhardt (Joe) of Concord; two sisters of Alabama; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to God's Church of Faith, 811 Elm Street, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
