Mr. Vaudry "Putt Putt" Ellis Tucker, Jr., 57, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019, at his home in Kannapolis.
A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at Zion Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Sarah Jean Tucker, Rev. Randy Tucker and Tommy Williams, Sr. will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 9:00 pm Monday at the church.
Mr. Tucker was born August 10, 1962 in Mooresville. He was a son of Rev. Sarah Jean Mullis Tucker and the late Rev. Vaudry Ellis Tucker, Sr. He attended Zion Freewill Baptist Church. He loved horses, he loved his church, playing the guitar, the beach and loved his family & friends and people in general. Putt Putt enjoyed seeing people happy.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Tonya Hurley Tucker; daughter, Nicole M. Rutledge of Charlotte; sister, Wanda Tucker of Kannapolis; brother, Randy Tucker and wife Elaine of Kannapolis; and a whole Church full of people that loved him.
