Virginia Helen Fowler Stickler's Obituary
Mrs. Virginia Helen Fowler Stickler, 88, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ed Burns will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45 am Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stickler was born September 24, 1932 in Royston, GA. She was a daughter of the late Lee Fowler and Estie Jordan Fowler. She was a member of The Message Community Church. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Virginia was always there for people in their time of need. She was well loved by many, and was a born again Christian.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Fannie Lou Carter, Allene Smith, Irelle Wilkerson and Venitia Steele; and brothers, Edward, William, Alfred and Jessie Lee Fowler.
Mrs. Stickler is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donald Joseph Stickler; two children, Julie Stickler of Columbus, OH and Larry Stickler and wife Michelle of Salisbury; sister, Joyce Parson of Kannapolis; two grandchildren, Zach Vikto of Columbus, OH and Riley Bruck of Salisbury; and numerous nieces and nephews.
