Vivian Oline Lambert's Obituary
Mrs. Vivian Oline Seymore Lambert, 74, of 108 Kirk Street, China Grove, died Tuesday, October 3, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2006, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Gene Edwards and the Rev. Raymond Davis will officiate. Interment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park. A meal for the family will follow in the fellowship hall at Genesis Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of a daughter, Linda Lambert Fink, 1300 Irish Potato Road, Concord.
Born May 19, 1932, in Comer, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Roscoe Seymore and Mary Smith Seymore. She worked for many years in the No. 1 weave room of Cannon Mills and retired from the No. 6 weave room of Pillowtex. She attended Genesis Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James William Lambert, who died January 17, 2003; and a brother, Bill Seymore.
Survivors include four daughters, Linda Fink and Theresa Ray, both of Concord, Shirley Clark and Vivian Gallman, both of China Grove; two sons, Mike Lambert of Albemarle and Leon Lambert of Franklin; a sister, Betty Lowder of China Grove; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
