William Bamberg, Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. William Bamberg, Jr., 68, of 6607 Wright Road, Kannapolis, died Friday, May 30, 2003, at his residence.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2003, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Robert Earnhardt will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of his mother-in-law, Grace Babb, 102 Hemlock Street, Kannapolis.
Born June 17, 1934, in Bonifay, Fla., he was the son of Merle Anderson Bamberg of Auburndale, Fla. and the late William Bamberg. He was a retired textile employee and former owner and operator of J.R. and Sue Leather Ware in Enochville.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Dona Sue Babb Bamberg; a daughter, Sabrina Bamberg of Fla.; a stepdaughter, Lisa Jillani of Charlotte; a son, Junior Ray Bamberg of Fla.; two stepsons, Steve Kerley of Rockwell and David Kerley of Landis; four sisters, Juanita Murray, Joann Coleman, Eloise Bamberg and Merlene Bamberg, all of Fla.; five brothers, Gerald Bamberg, Steve Bamberg, Earl Bamberg, Gene Bamberg and Hoss Bamberg, all of Fla.; and nine grandchildren.
