Wilma Beaver Ennis' Obituary
Mrs. Wilma White Beaver Ennis, 86, formerly of Earley Circle and the Britthaven of Kannapolis, died Tuesday, December 13, 2005, at the Brian Center in Concord.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2005, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Tim Jernigan will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Friday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Born March 2, 1919, in Alexander County, she was the daughter of the late Richard C. White and Alice Barnes White. She was an active member of Franklin Heights Baptist Church and retired in 1974 from the sewing room of Cannon Mills, Plant One in Kannapolis.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Ralph C. Beaver, who died February 1, 1965 and Alfred Dean Ennis, who died October 5, 2005.
Survivors include her daughter, Terrie Beaver Dellinger and husband, Keats, of Kannapolis; two step-sons, Eric Ennis and wife, Phyllis, of Landis and Tom Ennis and wife, Gayle, of Florence, SC; three brothers, Richard White and Amos White, both of Lenoir and Lewis White of Kannapolis; two grandchildren, Keats Dellinger II and wife, Kay, and Marla Dellinger Hutchins, both of Kannapolis; four step-grandchildren, Rick Ennis of Concord, Jeff Ennis and wife, Ann, of Matthews, Traci Sorg and husband Ken of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Emily Ennis of Florence, SC; six great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; six nieces; two nephews; and a beloved friend, Marie Foil of Kannapolis.
