Winnie Mcmanus Eubanks' Obituary
Mrs. Winnie McManus Eubanks, 92, of Guinn Avenue, Kannapolis, died Thursday, February 11, 2010 at The Meadows of Rockwell.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Mt. Mitchell United Methodist Church. The Rev. Robert C. Silber will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Mitchell United Methodist Church.
Born March 28, 1917 in Mineral Springs, NC, she was the daughter of the late Benson McManus and Amelia Aldridge McManus. She retired several years ago from Cannon Mills. Mrs. Eubanks was a longtime member of Mt. Mitchell United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Baxter Leroy Eubanks; a son, Baxter Neal Eubanks; and a daughter, Nadine Eberhardt.
Survivors include a daughter, Jean Ward of Supply; one sister, Alice Fields of Fort Mill, SC; and 42 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
