Whenever Betty and I would take a spin around town, we would stop for lunch somewhere, usually hotdogs at McGill Baptist. When Betty saw someone she hadn't seen in a while or met someone for the first time, her face would absolutely light up with delight. Betty would almost cry with joy. Wouldn't we all like to be on the receiving end of that kind of love. So, for Betty, greet others with love and be happy.
So sorry to hear the news. I have so many great memories of growing up in Royal Oaks. I remember your mom always smiling. There was always that extra set of eyes to make sure we did not get into too much mischief. I still think about the old neighborhood a lot. When we are in town, I drive down Pennsylviana Ave. and remember how lucky I was to grow up there. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
