Grandma Betty was the best grandma I could ever have wished for. She was always so kind and loving towards everyone around her, especially her family and always wanted the family to be close together. Some of my best memories are of every Sunday where we would go to church and then go out to CiCi's Pizza for some food with my Aunt Yvonne. And on days we didn't want to go out, we would stay in and make homemade pizza ourselves. She was always an amazing cook, and I absolutely loved being able to grow and learn to cook right beside her. Thank you for always being there for me when I needed you and I love you so very much Grandma Betty.
Aunt Betty was a beautiful, loving Aunt. So many memories, and I especially remember her laughing and chatting with her sisters, her genuine care for all of us kids every time she saw us, and how hard she worked to live a good and giving life. All my young life, my daughters were named "Betty Lou" and I didn't realize why until years later when I learned that her middle name was Lou. She was so pretty, and I wanted my dolls to be pretty like her!
lTo our dear family I was so excited when my brother Melvyn brought Betty home to meet us....then when they got married and I became an Aunt who spoiled my three little ones...love all the memories that followed...so glad Betty and I kept in touch all these years and now I will continue to keep in touch with Yvonne, Lisa and Glenn...love you all.. Aunt Betty and I had a lot of adventures together during family campouts and lobster feasts, farm dinners, picking veggies and berries, and a long road trip to Alaska. She helped us all so much after my dad died, taking care of the laundry, cooking, cleaning, chasing after little Arthur, and driving us to our lessons and games. I dearly loved Aunt Betty. I loved her laugh, working along side her, the way she could manage to stay clean even in the middle of a garden, and her fudge.
I am so sorry Betty has passed. She is now in Heaven. I knew Betty and her family, husband and children for quite some time. She was a sweet lady and quite a character. Love you Betty!!
Miss Betty was a sweet soul! Will miss her!
