Mrs. Donna Lee Thomson Mauldin, 80, of Kannapolis died Friday, December 16, 2022, following several months of declining health. She was being cared for at St. Andrew’s Living Center in Concord. Donna was born July 21, 1942 in Cha Read Obituary
Condolences to Mrs. Mauldins family. I spent many afternoons sitting with Mrs. Mauldin in the backyard watching the birds while Alex taught my daughter piano lessons. She was a beautiful soul, may she rest in peace. Alex, thinking of you during your loss at this time. It's been a difficult Christmas season.

Ms. Mauldin was my kindergarten teacher at Fred L Wilson elementary school (late 70's). Even as a very young child I remember thinking how beautiful she was. She was so loving and kind. She is one of the teachers that has made an impact on my life. I have thought about her alot through the years. I have some of the best memories of her. She has one previous student that has always loved her and always will. She was a true angel in disguise. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
Donna and Bob were life long friends from our days at ASU to our years spent in education. Watching our children play together and grow into adults have been fond memories. My love to Alex and Jill.
