I got to know Bill while workin at Duke Power Co., first as a welder while building McGuire, and later after he joined SMS, where we often worked together. I remember Bill as friendly, with a pleasant and bright outlook on life. I enjoyed working with Bill because you always knew where you stood with him and he was always willing to pitch in and get the job done, with never a complaint. When we were waiing or between jobs, we would talk and discuss many things. I always enjoyed his company and his opinions and I will miss him. He was a good, hard-working man who obviously loved his wife and family and the Lord. I am sure he waits for us in the place Jesus has prepared for us.
