Dear Family, I am so sorry that Mother (Ikey) and I cannot be there with you, but with Mother's current health problems it is impossible. But you are in our thoughts and prayers. Lucile was the most unique lady that I have ever met. Oh, the stories she could tell, and what a memory. She will forever be in our hearts. She will be greatly missed.Mother and she grew much closer in her last few years. I have heard the story of Mother's birth from Lucile many times. Mother was born on a Saturday and that caused Lucile to miss her weekly trip to town. She never let Mother live it down. Peace to each of you.
