Ron was the best neighbor ever! Always ready and willing to lend a hand, give advice or just chat. He and Cindy were such gracious hosts and so generous and fun. He will be sorely missed by us all. Prayers and Peace to Cindy and the family.
Ron was the neighbor of a lifetime. We have had the pleasure of a common fence for 30 yrs. he has loved us, served us and this Sprucewood community for all of those years. We have laughed and shared a lifetime together. We have borrowed sugar and milk and shared our yard tools. Our dogs were even conditioned to go to the fence when Ron was in the yard as there would ALWAYs be treats. With a pool in his yard he was always the FUN house for kids. He always made sure the pool was ready and available. 20 yrs ago The fence became Ron and Cindys. It was great to see them enjoy life together and find happiness. Beyond being a neighbor he was concerned and sought to serve others less fortunate in our community. Jane and I along with many will miss him. Always in the yard, always active, always doing. He truly served and cared for his family and others.
We loved having Ron and Cindy stay with us over in England. We shared stories on long walks around the English countryside and I loved teaching him how to play English Lawn green bowls. He was a natural and picked up the game very quickly. We imagine that the community in which he lived will be poorer without his cheerful and positive zest for life.
All our love goes out to Cindy at this sad,sad time.

Cindy,
This absolutely broke my Heart. I was so blessed to have met You and Ron. He had me laughing within the first 5 minutes of meeting him, such an Amazing Person. Keeping You and your Family in my Prayers. May God wrap his loving arms around each of you and may you all feel his presence in a powerful way. Much Love

Ron was a very good friend and on of the finest gentleman I have ever known. He was devoted to wife Cindy and showered her with his love and compassion. Although we lived many miles apart, I will miss the bond we had. May he Rest In Peace and may Cindy feel the comfort and blessings of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
We both are so sad to hear of Ron’s passing. We will always remember meeting Ron & Cindy camping several years ago and have stayed friends ever since. Ron always made us laugh and know he will be deeply missed. Special prayers for you Cindy and the family.

I haven't been able to stop thinking about him since I heard of Ron's passing. My heart is broken for Cindy and our community. My girls loved it when he would stop the van to pick on us and make us laugh. It is hard to drive by every day and know that we wont' see him in the yard or road anymore or to open the front door and not see him walking by and stop and talk. Ron adored Cindy. He always wanted to help others and took good care of all of the neighbors. It was a treat to come home and find a surprise bag of veggies under the carport. Much love and prayers for peace and comfort to the family.
I can't imagine you and Ron not being together heading out for a cruise or sharing life . I believe he is in heaven with the Lord and the suffering has ended. Know we are praying for you and are available for whatever you need. A donation to Special Olympics will be made to honor him.
